Naso 2022

This week’s Parsha follows on the heels of the last of the Holy Spring Convocations: Shavuot. The title of the Parsha is Naso, translated in the KJV as ‘Take’, but which literally means to lift, bear up, support, carry and to bear continuously. Not coincidentally, this one word sums up the vocational charge given the House of Levi in regards to the Tabernacle. As such, it behooves us to examine this vital connection embedded in the Hebrew language.
